{"id":507,"date":"2012-08-10T16:13:26","date_gmt":"2012-08-10T21:13:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.juggleware.com\/blog\/?p=507"},"modified":"2012-08-10T16:25:23","modified_gmt":"2012-08-10T21:25:23","slug":"vimeo-48hr-film","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juggleware.com\/blog\/2012\/08\/vimeo-48hr-film\/","title":{"rendered":"Vimeo &#8220;Magic Hour&#8221; &#038; 48-Hour Film competitions this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend, Vimeo is hosting a competition. <a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/vimeo.com\/blog\/post:513');\"  href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/blog\/post:513\">Shoot one minute of footage during the &#8220;Magic Hour&#8221;<\/a> (also known as the &#8220;golden hour&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>Also this weekend is the international <a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/www.48hourfilm.com');\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.48hourfilm.com\">48 Hour Film Competition<\/a> where teams have 48 hours to write and produce a complete short movie. In fact, your humble developer will be competing in the New Orleans chapter. Our <a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/vimeo.com\/28389995');\"  href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/28389995\">entry<\/a> last year even got a few awards!<\/p>\n<p>Both are excellent opportunities to use <a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/sol.juggleware.com');\"  href=\"http:\/\/sol.juggleware.com\">Sol: Sun Clock<\/a>\u2014it can be an essential planning tool for location shoots as many cinematographers and photographers have mentioned.
